Can you log onto world of warcraft in 2 different computers?

My friend and i are going to start playing world of warcraft and were gonna share an account.. since you can make more than 1 character on the account… I was just wondering can he and i both be logged in to world of warcraft at the same time on different computers..??? Wil the game let you do that?
