What is wrong with my computer where it wont play the trial world of warcraft?

I downloaded the trial 10 day version of world of warcraft. When i click on the icon the game opens to the home page thing. When i click play the game tries to go but then a box pops up saying failed to find a suitable display device. Any ideas on what is going wrong?
